Camel Safari is one of the unique way to explore small villages in Rajasthan. It is a great experience to explore The Thar - a vibrantly, living, desert, very colorful and hospitable. The adventure of exploring the sandy landscape and passage through remote villages is the one that you won't be able to forget your whole life.
How about camping on interesting sites, experience spending the night under the stars and jive on the tunes of the Rajasthani musicians. The safaris start from our base camp in Jamba located approximately 170 kms from Jodhpur. Besides one camel per pax on the safari, a camel cart accompanies on the tour to handle baggage and allow riders to take rest as and when required.
Our tours include three meals a day, tea/coffee, two mineral water bottles per day, an escort and tents on sharing basis, kitchen tent, toilet tents with pit system, mattresses and entertainment by local artisans.
Day wise Itinerary The Thar is a world of its own, an unending ocean of sand, dotted with dunes and patchily covered with shrubs, with its own distinctive wildlife. While taking up a camel caravan you'll encounter the warmth of hospitable villagers and ruins of historic forts and palaces of Rajasthan.

Camel Safari Tips Besides riding the camel there are certain other facts too that you should keep in mind while traveling the desert regions of the Thar. The weather in desert is extreme so do carry sun screen, goggles, and a first aid kit. The clothes that you are going to wear should also provide your skin breathing space, because of the hot climate you are tend to sweat. Its better to wear cotton clothes and loose fitted ones and wear shoes, avoid exposing your skin as much as possible or you'll get a sun burn. Visitors are requested to dress modestly since the safari passes in close proximity of villages. A Sola-Topee, the local Rajasthani turban or some kind of head protection is essential too. While the days are sunny, mornings and nights are chilly. Please do not carry formal clothing.

FAQs
A constructive mental attitude is fundamental to the success of your journey and due to the very nature of the safari and the remote areas that you will visit; conditions may be outside that of your normal experience. After leaving the comforts of civilization behind, you should be prepared to enjoy the desert on its own terms.
What is the fitness level required to do a camel safari? Our safari is designed for anyone in good general health. You do not have to be 'ultra-fit', however a super fit person who is unhappy at leaving the comforts of home behind will not cope as well as a moderately fit person who is prepared to encounter the desert on its own terms.
What meals will we get while on a camel safari? Healthy and nutritious. You will be surprised at the variation in meals that we can create. Except for refrigerated goods of course, we can carry just about anything, including fresh fruit and vegetables, and cook all meals at the campsite. We cater to nearly all dietary requirements, bearing in mind that we operate in remote areas
