Nature and wildlife are an integral part of the Indian consciousness. Animals have an all important role in India's myths, legend and religious belief. The best way to explore and experience the majestic Himalayan foothills is undoubtedly on foot or on elephant. This stretch features fascinating deciduous forests and the Savannah vegetation of tall grassy meadows and marshes, across gushing streams and mountain villages. The avifauna here is wide - ranging and varied and so are the inhabitants of these great forests. The accompanying Jeep and the tended camps give you the flexibility to choose your transportation mode. An odyssey in itself, this simple yet intense experience combines an undisturbed sojourn in picture-postcard countryside.

Day 1	Reach Tiger Tops Corbett Lodge. Film show and talk on Corbett Tiger Reserve. Overnight at Tiger Tops Corbett Lodge.
Day 2	Leave for Sitabani by elephant which will follow the traditinal game trail through the thick forest of tall sal trees, unique to this area.
Day 3	A visit can be paid to an ancient Sita temple. Those who prefer can trek the hill.
Day 4	Depart for Delhi after breakfast at the Lodge.

What is included:
Accommodation in forest lodges/camp inclusive of all meals. Entrances and guide.

What is NOT included:
Transfers to and from Safari. Bar/beverage bills at night halts.

How to Prepare:
It is best to go in a group of minimum 4 persons. Be certain of the items being provided on the trip so you can carry all that you need. It is necessary to find out who is offering good, reliable service.

What to Carry:
Bring something comfortable to sit on otherwise you will go back with sore legs. A wide brimmed hat, sun cream, personal water bottle, sleeping bag.
