Lakshadweep - What to do

The Lakshadweep islands are ideal for a variety of activities ranging from lazing in the sun on virgin beaches to indulging in adventurous activities like scuba diving.

The islands offer a variety of water sports which include swimming, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing, rowing and para-sailing. High quality equipment like snorkels, glass bottomed boats, rowing and motorboats, equipment for wind surfing, scuba diving, para-sailing and water skiing are all available on Kavaratti, Kalpeni, Kadmat and Minicoy. Instructors are available for snorkelling and scuba diving. Kadmat Island also has a Water Sports Institute where courses on scuba diving and snorkelling are conducted.
