Your three choices to visit the area are:
1. If you are on a lean budget: Join one of the packaged tours run by SPORTS (An organisation run by the Lakshadweep Administration which means – Society for Promotion of Recreation Tourism). Most of the packages involve spending nights on board the ship and day trips to the islands.
2. If budget is not a consideration: Go to the Bangaram Beach Resort which is an exclusive resort on an uninhabited island encompassed in a huge picturesque lagoon.
3. If you want to do SCUBA: Lacadives, a professional diving outfit run by Prahlad Kakkar offers diving at Bangaram as well as Kadmat. If you would like to save money, the accommodation at Kadmat comes cheaper but there is no comparison in the quality between the classic resort at Bangaram and the government run shacks at Kadmat.
