What are the physical requirements of a trek?

A trek doesn’t require anything except that one is in perfect physical condition and prepared to walk for at least six hours a day.

Can only the young go on a trek?

No, even the middle aged can go on a trek, if in good physical shape.

Can children be taken on a trek?

Children can definitely be taken on treks, only the hours and the speed of walking should be such so as to accommodate the child’s speed and stamina.

What climatic illnesses do I have to guard against?

Hypothermia, sunburn, prickly heat, heat exhaustion and heat stroke are the climatic illnesses that should be avoided with adequate precautions.
