Trekking Guide > Fitness Level

Before starting out on a trek, you should be in good physical condition. If you are not used to some kind of exercise on a regular basis, there is a need to gradually build up stamina, before starting out on a trek. You can start by taking walks, the length of which can be slowly increased. This needs to be done at least fifteen days prior to the starting of the trek. If you are on regular medication carry the medicines along, and your trekking guide should be aware of your ailments and requirements.
