This program combines the benefits of the science of Yoga with the pleasures of leisure travel across India’s Golden Triangle. The word Yoga means to "yoke" the mind, body and soul. Through the practice of Yoga, one unites body, mind and soul. Your journey starts in Delhi. Spend a day touring the city. You can visit the India Gate and the Red Fort. The Qutab Minar is worth a visit. The lotus-shaped Bahai Temple is another must see. The next destination is Rishikesh. After a day in Haridwar you reach Rishikesh. Here you attend an orientation class that introduces you to the various facets of this yoga program. You will also meet the Yoga instructor. The following day the yoga sessions commence. You can either drive or stroll across to the Yoga Centre. After a few relaxation exercises the instructor will start with breathing and stretching exercises. In the evening you will attend a traditional meditation class. Next morning you are back at the centre. You start with the relaxation exercises then asana, followed by yognindra. You have the rest of the day to yourself for sightseeing and other activities. In the evening you will attend classes on modern meditation.
Today you will receive training for Pranayam (advance breathing) and other yoga postures. Next you drive up to Vashist Gufa (cave), which is the ideal place for transcendental meditation. The evening is reserved for the regular meditation session. This is your seventh day in Rishikesh. Early morning you wake up for Pranayam and learn the advance technique of Yoga. In the evening you go for meditation and curative yoga. You can take an optional trip to Devprayag, one of the five most important confluences of Garhwal Himalayas. Next morning starts with a Vipasana session. The evening will be spent in meditation. Your last day in Rishikesh you practice the advance postures of yoga and Vipasana. In the evening you attend the meditation session. A question and answer session will also be held. Next you travel to the city of the Taj Mahal, Agra. From here you drive to the Pink city of Jaipur. Spend the day visiting the majestic forts and palaces. Plan a trip to the Amber Fort and the Hawa Mahal. From Jaipur you return to Delhi.
