This is an indicative itinerary which can be fully customised for you
This ultra-deluxe trip allows you to make the best of Southern India's cultural diversity while also enjoying the opulence of the region's finest hotels. The program starts in the frenzy of Mumbai city with a catamaran tour to see Elephanta Island's intriguing cave temples. The city is home to India's mature film industry, Bollywood. It’s the commercial capital of India, a beautiful island full of beaches, a land of opportunity & a shopper’s delight.
Next you travel from Mumbai to Chennai. The city is a widespread space still open to skies, green and airy with several vestiges of its rural past. You can relax at the beautiful Covelong Beach, which offers windsurfing, swimming and other water sport activities. Close to Covelong Beach is Mahabalipuram. Plan an excursion to this marvelous seaport and feast your eyes on the famous collection of temples and carvings that date back to the 7th century. Next, fly a short distance to Madurai for a two-night stay. Here, visit the Tirumalai Nayakar Palace, the Meenakshi Sundareshwarar temple, and spend a full day exploring Rameshwaram, a sacred island that is now a major pilgrimage site.
Your next destination is the lovely state of Kerala, God’s Own Country. Here you can stay on the banks of the Vembanad Lake. Take a short boat cruise along the canals and enjoy a traditional Kathakali music and dance performance before spending a leisurely day in the blissful surroundings. From Vembanad Lake, you depart for Cochin. Tour the city and visit the Jewish Synagogue, built in 1568 and adorned by hundreds of exquisite hand-painted Chinese tiles in blue & white. St. Francis church, the oldest European Church in India, is another must see. A walk in the cobbled streets of this quaint city is an incredible experience, you can never forget. Sail the waterways of Kerala and experience the tranquil pace of life in these serene backwaters, aboard a cruiser. You spend one final night in Mumbai.
