This is an indicative itinerary which can be fully customised for you

You arrive in Delhi and will be taken for a tour to Old and New Delhi. Next you fly to the holy city of Varanasi. From here make a trip to Sarnath where you can explore the remains of the early monasteries. Then take a boat ride on the Ganges to witness the various sacred ceremonies conducted by the pilgrims. The sight of teeming crowds at the ghats is a breathtaking experience.

Next on your schedule is a flight to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. In the evening you will visit the renowned Taj Mahal shimmering in the fading twilight. Visit the Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah, the famous tomb of Mirza Ghiyath Beg. Drive to the Ranthambore National Park via Fatehpur Sikri. Here you spend an entire day where you might spot India’s elusive tigers, roaming the jungles. Though the tiger population has been severely reduced as a result of poaching, the park continues to be home to a thriving population of jackals, chital, and other jungle cats.

The next stop is Jaipur, the famed Pink City of India. Ride an elephant to the top of Amber Fort and tour the museums and palaces. You will then fly to Jodhpur and tour the city. Until recent times, the district of Jodhpur was known as Marwar. It was the largest kingdom in the Rajputana and the third largest of the Indian kingdoms. In Jodhpur visit the majestic Meherangarh Fort. Then you will drive to Udaipur known as ‘Venice of the East’. On the way, take time out to visit the elaborate complex of Jain Temples in Ranakhpur. In Udaipur, visit the City Palace and the Jagdish Temple before taking a boat ride on Lake Pichola. The trip concludes with a final night in Delhi.
