Kuari pass also popularly known as Curzon's trail, as Lord Curzon trekked to the pass in 1905 promises a sight of the Himalayan peaks that few places in the mountains can match. As one approaches the pass, one gets to view the glory of the peaks arranged in a stunning arc..
With the gorges of Trisul in the east to Kedarnath in the west and Chaukhamba, Nilkantha, Kamet, Gauri Parbat, Hathi Parbat, Nanda Devi, Bethartoli, Dunagiri in between these, the sight takes ones breath away. As you look southward the foothills can be seen as never ending waves till the end of the horizon.
The trek through Ghat is a Nature lover's paradise with some exotic flora and fauna on display, plus the meadows of Auli and Gorson add to the completeness of experiencing the entire display of Himalayan splendours.
